Iconic denim and fashion brand Buffalo David Bitton announces its 50th-anniversary collection in celebration of decades of legendary craftsmanship and performance. With over 50 years of emblematic denim styles under their belt, Buffalo David Bitton is leaving its mark by melding vintage style with modern trends.
The Buffalo David Bitton brand’s 50th-anniversary collection highlights the history of the brand, looking back on the iconic vintage design elements made popular in the 80s and 90s whilst adding in a mix of new contemporary elements. The collection features denim and sportswear, highlighting timeless washes, the softest fabrics, and a sustainable environmental promise.
“Buffalo David Bitton has always been a brand rooted in providing its customer with the perfect pair of jeans and this season we celebrate a milestone with our golden anniversary” said Andie Lipton, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Buffalo David Bitton. “Our jeans have been at the forefront of style for decades and our 50th anniversary celebration is a great time to honor the brand’s history and look to the future with excitement.”
Utilizing a wide range of vintage washes and distressed blues, highlights of the menswear collection include a re-introduction of baggy jeans and relaxed fits, as well as timeless pieces like the Joe denim jacket which features iconic patches used throughout the years. Another highlight is the Matt loose fit jean featuring the same design and pattern made popular by the original Matthew jean of the ’90s. Highlights of the womenswear collection include a strong influence from the 90s with a wide range of bleached shades and classic authentic blues, emphasized with styles ranging from super wide legs to workwear-inspired pieces including the wide-leg Alice and Jada carpenter jeans.
“It’s amazing to see how styles that were once loved are now resurfacing in a new way,” said Alesha Rayoff-Pearce Director of Product Development and Design at Buffalo David Bitton. “The inspiration behind the collection was pulled from notable pop culture trends and styles from the past decades, creating a unique collection of timeless pieces.”

The MSX for NFL x Starter collection elevates core MSX and Starter styles while capturing the experience of the Super Bowl LVI taking place in Los Angeles this year. MSX, known for its casual lifestyle and work leisure apparel, partnered with G-III Apparel in 2020 to launch an exclusive, limited-edition Super Bowl LVI capsule collection in celebration of the NFL’s 100th season. With football’s biggest game set to be played in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 13, former teammates Strahan and Banks look to fuse their brand elements once again and celebrate the Super Bowl through a bold and fresh MSX x Starter Collaboration produced by G-III.
“The Super Bowl was a significant moment in my career, and since Los Angeles is hosting this year, we knew as a brand that we wanted to go even bigger with our NFL Licensed gameday apparel. We designed loud and proud prints and patterns to represent our excitement,” said Strahan. “Starter has created must-have items for die-hard sports fans for a long time, which is why we’re excited to collaborate with Carl and the team at G-III to help create a unique MSX for NFL collection that represents true LA style and swag.”
“Starter has been a pioneer of sports and fashion within the retail industry for decades,” said Banks. “Bringing this unique collaboration to one of the biggest sports stages in the world with my former teammate and now business partner is an absolute thrill for me and G-III. We are excited to continue to build this partnership and the Michael Strahan brand.”
The collection will include limited edition varsity jackets ($195- $220), track jackets ($135-$155), hoodies ($120), T-shirts ($50-$75) and women’s varsity jackets ($185). Curated by New Jersey-based graphic artist, Brian Begly, the collection was envisioned through the lens of the Los Angeles aesthetic, with unique styles that include the breathtaking Los Angeles sunset and iconic Hollywood skyline.
The collection will be available February 5th online and in stores at Sheikh, Fanatics/NFL Shop, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Stater.com and at The NFL Experience in Los Angeles.
