London Fog And Jeremy Scott Reveal Collaboration
London Fog, the heritage lifestyle brand known for its outerwear and raincoats, is revealing a new collaboration with designer Jeremy Scott. Scott, whose designs fuse references from pop culture, high fashion and streetwear, will design two capsule collections for London Fog, starting with the Spring 2019 season. Both collections will feature Scott’s bold and edgy twist on classic London Fog pieces across multiple categories.
For Spring 2019, Scott collaborated with London Fog to create a fashion-forward collection of eight items for both men and women. The capsule includes an avant-garde update to the timeless London Fog trench coat featuring a draped hemline, zipper details and an unexpected leopard-print lining. Leopard print and zipper detailing are key design elements throughout the capsule collection and are also featured on a leather hat-box handbag, an expandable spinner suitcase, an umbrella, a scarf and a rain bucket hat with leather trim. Additionally, Scott took inspiration from London Fog’s signature style to create a playful laptop case that resembles a folded trench coat.
“I wanted to play with the iconography of the classic London Fog trench coat, twisting and altering it with zippers, releasing and relaxing the bottom hem to create a mullet effect with the leopard print lining catching one’s eye as it trains behind the wearer,” said Jeremy Scott.
The London Fog x Jeremy Scott Spring 2019 capsule collection will launch on March 13 at select Macy’s locations and Macys.com, exclusively at select Hudson’s Bay stores and TheBay.com in Canada and on LondonFog.com. Prices for the capsule range from $60 to $300.
